Handmade products are more often than not imperfect, asymmetrical in shape or finish. The beauty of handmade objects lies in its imperfections. One must understand that human hands can never replicate the exact same thing twice.
Our products are made entirely by hand and from scratch, you will often find irregularities that are never seen in mass produced objects. These irregularities are its intrinsic character and not a flaw.
The product that you purchase might vary slightly from the image on this website. Handmade products are not always exactly the same. The shape/size/colour etc might be different.
Our single edition jewellery are one of a kind and no two pieces are the same. Each piece is made with a lot of care, time and effort. Here, at SHOHINI, we strive to create pieces of wearable art, where each piece of jewellery is the result of the artists’ creativity and experience.
How to care for your handmade jewellery
Please do not wash fabric jewellery, they will lose its shape. You could clean it with a moist cloth and dry it immediately.
For copper jewellery, you could clean with lemon juice and then wash under cold water. Please do not use soap. Dry thoroughly. If there are other components in the jewellery in question, like beads or stones etc. make sure the lemon juice does not get to it.
For silver jewellery, you can use toothpaste to clean it but make sure you wash off all residue of toothpaste under cold water and dry thoroughly.
Please handle all handmade jewellery with care. Store in a box.
